The SGG team implemented Catchpoint external synthetic monitoring at Autodesk so that all major revenue generating applications are monitored from locations across the country and across the globe. This synthetic monitoring identified major functional and performance issues in the production and test environments and enabled the support teams to address issues faster. Additionally, the team used analytics to provide development, business and testing teams with detailed descriptions around application performance. These detailed descriptions included custom reports and dashboards highlighting real-time and historical availability and response times metrics. Furthermore, the SGG team seamlessly integrated Catchpoint with several other of Autodesk’s systems. Catchpoint alerts were made visible and actionable by a setting up custom integrations with BigPanda and ServiceNow. Finally, Catchpoint was integrated with Splunk and this allowed for the Catchpoint data to be leveraged for Geckoboard integration.
